Trip to Seattle: The Emerald City

May 14th, 2010

I’m starting a new travel series and the first top is Seattle. Located at the Pacific Northwest, Seattle host a lot of history and culture. A seaport situated on an isthmus between Puget Sound (an arm of the Pacific Ocean) and Lake Washington, about 100 miles (160 km) south of the Canada – United States border. This is where music legends like Jimi Hendrix and Nirvana came from, first Starbucks coffee shop and a lot more. The weather is always gloomy (at least 9 months in a year).

Seattle is synonym for coffee, Starbucks, Seattle’s Best and Tullys are founded here and of course tons of mom and pop coffee shops around the neighborhood.
My personal opinion while I was walking around Seattle is you get that underground culture vibe.
